I was very dubious because I booked my room on Booking.com then saw the reviews on Google and honestly was expecting a horror house especially as I thought the room price was too good to be true. I don't normally leave long reviews but I felt it needed it seeing all the bad reviews. I just needed somewhere to crash over night for work so I am pleasantly surprised. I had booked the wrong date and they easily let me change it on booking.con at the last minute. I am indeed at the other hotel you have to check in at 7 doors down. My room is small but clean. It has a kettle, fridge, TV and own en suite. The guy who let me in was very friendly. It feels safe. The walls are paper thin but it's not loud. There is the sound of traffic which is normal in a city. And I have whacked my radiotor up to 5 so the room is boiling (warmer then my house). I will amend if I get bed bites in the morning but so far so good. There is great transport connections and amenities, I have just been to the Greek cafe across the road and there is a pub 2 doors down. I think tourists might not realise that lots of properties in London are converted buildings rather than pre built for purpose (also it's defo not a house more a mansion!) and we don't tend to have AC in the UK! Also if it's an old property that's listed you can't always do sound proofing or change the windows. Plus I think they should maybe check out the horrors of renting in London... This place is somewhere I would book if I was going to a gig or night out, or out sight seeing all day, or working and just needed somewhere to crash. It's perfect for that. It's prob not great for families or if you were having a romantic getaway. But for the price and location it is not bad at all.

Fantastic weekend break!! Booked the hotel for me and my friend for the weekend to attend the event at the royal Albert hall. Decent rooms with clean bathrooms. The receptionist was super friendly ! Westfield mall is nearby which has decent restaurants. Will come again.

Staff were lovely. Room is good for a budget hotel although a little warm for me but the fan on the wall helped. Bed was comfy. Would stay there again.

Stayed here as it was close to the O2 Empire, great location, close to Westfield shopping centre and the market. Room was small but had everything we needed, there was a mini fridge, a fan and we even had a balcony which I was very pleased about. I did need to buy some cheap pillows at the market as there were only 2 on the bed and the guy at reception said he couldn’t get me any extras. Don’t be expecting 5 star luxury, it’s a cheap place to stay for the night but the bed, room and bathroom were clean and functional. The check in desk was a few doors down from the sapphire and our room wasn’t actually in the sapphire but they’re all linked together so no probs there.

We booked a room here, it was £40. Our room was actually in the Pearl hotel so I can't attest for the sapphire hotel but I can't understand the bad reviews, our room was clean, well equipped (fan, tv, shower, kettle, fridge) Sheets all clean and everything in order, for 40 pound I was more than happy with it, people need to realise you get what you pay for and the value for money was really good. Friendly staff who was happy to help with parking and directions etc. Didn't eat here but they did do breakfast, all in all it was definitely worth the money. The only downside would be the lack of parking but so long as you were out by 9 it was possible to do it for free.

Very tidy and clean. Guy at the reception is very kind and professional. Upgraded me to a bigger room due to someone extending their stay at the room I had been located in first, at no extra cost. Also recommended Greek food place across the street which had amazing fresh food and good customer service too! Location is perfect as I had a meeting in Notting Hill following morning (15mins in the bus)
